Items that require specific regulatory, safety or handling controls may be subject to additional requirements or restrictions. MediLogistics does not accept items that are illegal, dangerous, hazardous, or that cannot be transported safely and in accordance with applicable legislation and regulations.
Prohibited or restricted items may include:
• Firearms, ammunition and other weapons
• Explosives, including fireworks and other explosive materials
• Illegal drugs, narcotics and other unlawful substances
• Hazardous, toxic, corrosive or flammable chemicals
• Compressed gases and other dangerous goods, unless specifically approved and handled under the applicable requirements
• Radioactive materials, unless specifically authorised and arranged in accordance with applicable regulations
• Live animals, insects and plants
• Human remains or animal remains
• Cash, currency, bullion, precious metals, precious stones and other high-value items, unless specifically agreed
• Perishable, frozen or temperature-sensitive goods, unless they have been approved for transport under the required conditions
• Infectious or hazardous biological materials, unless specifically approved and transported under the appropriate regulatory and handling requirements
• Any goods that are improperly packaged, labelled or documented and may pose a risk to people, property or other consignments
• Corrosives such as Acids or batteries with liquid
• Any liquid that can spoil and contaminate other parcels
Some healthcare, pharmaceutical and other regulated products may be transported by MediLogistics where the appropriate approvals, packaging, documentation, temperature controls and handling requirements are in place.
